Dear Keshia,
You don’t know it yet, but every challenge, every rejection, and every tough conversation will shape you into the leader you’re meant to be. The long hours, the wins (and the losses), and the lessons you learn along the way will build the foundation for a career you’ll be proud of.
Lean into curiosity—ask the questions, seek out mentors, and never stop learning. Your ability to adapt, to think strategically, and to empower others will be your greatest strengths. Leadership isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about creating the space for others to thrive.
Trust yourself. Take the risks. And when the opportunity comes to step up, don’t hesitate—you're more capable than you think.
Oh, and remember to enjoy the journey. The people you meet, the experiences you gain, and the impact you make will matter far more than any title.
